16th European Conference on Earthquake Engineering

This year in the period between 18 and 21 June, the city of Thessaloniki hosted the 16th European Conference on Earthquake Engineering.

Ading was represented by one of our leading managers for application, Bojan Damchevski MSc, who delivered a presentation on the topic “MECHANICAL CHARACTERISATION OF POLYMER FIBRE-REINFORCED CEMENT-BASED MORTAR FOR MASONRY JOINT REPOINTING“. The presentation was developed in cooperation with the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Skopje and the Institute for Research in Environment, Civil Engineering and Energy - IEGE.

The emphasis was placed on the impact of high-strength mortars from the R4 group when used in the process of masonry joint repointing, especially the strength properties under normal and diagonal pressure, by testing them when exposed to seismic impact.

The experimental testing was conducted by using Reparatur Malter F4 and Reparatur Penetrat, materials from the product range of Ading.
