On 14.11.2018 we signed an agreement for cooperation on a scientific research project: REINFORCING MASONRY BY MEANS OF STRUCTURAL REPOINTING – STREP.

This is a continuation of the series of long-running joint projects and is an excellent example of mutual cooperation between scientific institutions, faculties and scientific and research institutes and the private sector in the area of scientific activities.

Subject to research in this scientific research project are the masonry structures, more specifically, the study and experimental testing of one of the traditional methods of reinforcing masonry structures, the method of repointing, by using traditional and modern materials.

It is a developmental and applied research that will take place within a period of 12 months. It will be conducted by the scientific research teams of the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Skopje, the Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology and ADING – company for construction chemicals. The activities of this project coincide with the coming anniversaries in 2019, 70 years – Faculty of Civil Engineering and 50 years - Ading.
